Table of Contents
Items of a contract are provisioned from the Customer app. You are required to select a Contract before you can choose the items and their variants.
This action is done through:
- Purchase subscription
- Purchase Add-on
1. Purchase subscription
- Go to the Customer app
- Select the appropriate customer
- Choose Purchase tab
- Select an item that you would like to buy
- Choose Purchase under contract
- Apply
- Complete Order
2. Purchase Add-on
Items in a contract can only be added to the subscriptions that were purchased under a contract.
- Go to the Customer app
- Select the appropriate customer
- Choose Subscriptions tab
- Select a subscription that you would like to buy add-ons
- At the Add-ons section, click the Eye icon
- Purchase the add-ons normally
How does the billing plan affect the subscription provisioning?
Subscription | Milestone | As incurred |

Purchase new subscription |
Start date: date of purchase End date: Contract’s end date |
Start date: date of purchase End date: subscription cycle |
Renew subscription | Not valid as the subscription was provisioned to the entire contract. | New end date: subscription cycle or contract’s end date - depends which date comes first. |
Extend subscription | Not valid as the subscription was provisioned to the entire contract. | New end date: selected date or contract’s end date - depends which date comes first. |
