Overview

By default, purchasing any number in the B3Networks portal comes with fax capabilities.However, this alone does NOT guarantee reliable delivery. This information will serve as a guide for subscribers to decide if our numbers paired with fax services is the right fit for you.

The success of sending out and receiving Fax is solely dependent on the routing the source number provider uses which has to support both fax services and also the correct format to ensure reliable delivery to both domestic and international destinations.

For reliable service , it is important to distinguish, if the numbers you are going to purchase in B3Networks platform are:

Sourced from B3networks external vendors or have a direct termination.
The fax service will be sent to domestic or international destinations.

Domestic Fax

B3 External vendor

The routing for numbers sourced by B3Networks external vendors, are controlled by them. In their normal course of routing algorithms they may or may not use domestic routing that supports fax or use the correct formatting. Therefore fax service will be intermittent or not work at all.

B3 Direct Termination

As we have control over the vendor routing, B3 will ensure that the country number provider uses routes that support fax and the right formatting to deliver reliable service domestically.
