Notes:

  • Treat your Recovery Key with the same level of attention as you would with your password.
  • Saving your Recovery Key in a safe place can help keep you from being locked out of your account.

Enable 2FA with an Authenticator App

Authenticator apps are used for two-factor authentication (2FA) because they provide an additional layer of security beyond just a username and password.

Authenticator apps offer a secure, convenient, and cost-effective method for implementing two-factor authentication, providing robust protection against unauthorized access.

To enable 2FA authentication, follow the steps below:

  • Go to Manage Account
  • Open Security & credentials
  • Scroll down to Two-Factor Authentication section
  • Get the authenticator app from the App store
  • Go to the Authenticator App section and click on Set Up
  • A QR code will appear on the screen.
  • Open the Authenticator app on the mobile device and scan the QR code
  • 6- Digit code will appear on the app, insert the code in the system and press verify.
  • Your authenticator app is set up to sign in to your account.
