Overview
The Global Inbound Call Blacklist is an organization-level feature designed to block or allow incoming calls based on specific number patterns. This feature provides administrators with centralized control, improving security, consistency, and overall efficiency in call filtering across the entire organization.
Key Capabilities
01. Organization-Wide Blocklist: Rules apply globally across all inbound calls, regardless of the application (e.g., Phone System, SIP Trunk, etc.).
02. Prefix-Based Routing: Rules are defined using specific number prefixes (e.g., +1, +33, +84, +656).
04. Matching Logic: A rule is triggered if the incoming number starts with the defined prefix.
- If multiple rules match, the system automatically applies the longest prefix match.
- If If no rule matches → default action = ALLOW
How to Configure a Global Inbound Call Blacklist
Follow these step-by-step instructions to create and manage your global call blocklist rules.
Step 1: Navigate to Settings
- Go to Manage Organization from the left-hand navigation pane.
- Select Global Inbound Call Blacklist.
Step 2: Create a New Rule
- Click the Add Rule button
Step 3: Configure Rule Details
Fill in the required parameters in the rule configuration panel:
- Prefix: Enter the specific number prefix you want to target (e.g., country codes or specific area codes).
-
Action: Choose what the system should do when a number matches the prefix:
- Allow: The system explicitly permits the incoming call that matches the rule.
- Block: The system rejects the incoming call that matches the rule.
-
Apply To: Specify what part of the incoming call information the system evaluates:
- Caller ID: The phone number of the caller.
- Caller Name: The display name of the caller (if provided by the carrier network).
Step 4: Save and Apply
Click the [Add] or [Save] button to finalize and activate the rule.

Global rules are managed separately in Manage Organization to avoid:
- Misconfiguration
- Conflicts with personal / app-level settings
Duplicate prefixes are not allowed across rules.
By default, no rules are configured. All incoming calls are allowed unless explicitly blocked.
