Overview

The SIP Trunk Audit Log allows authorized users to review changes made to SIP Trunk passwords and inbound or outbound call policies. Each audit record shows who performed the action, when it occurred, the affected SIP Trunk or region, and the source IP address.

Actions recorded in the Audit Log

The Audit Log records the following activities:

  • Resetting the SIP password
  • Managing inbound call policies:
    • Adding, updating, or removing caller-number policies
    • Adding, updating, or removing callee-number policies
    • Enabling or disabling Prepend Plus
  • Managing outbound call policies:
    • Enabling or disabling Auto Add Plus
    • Adding, updating, or removing dial plans
    • Adding or removing a country
    • Enabling or disabling a specific area for a country
    • Importing a dial plan by country

How to view SIP Trunk audit logs

Step 1: Open the SIP Trunk page

From the left navigation menu, select the SIP module. At the top of the page, use the dropdown menu to select the SIP Trunk you want to review.

Step 2: Open the Audit view

Select the Audit icon in the upper-right corner of the SIP Trunk page, next to the search icon.

Step 3: Filter the results

Use the filter bar to narrow the audit records by:

  • Date range: Defaults to Today
  • Action: The type of activity performed
  • Actor: The user who performed the activity

You can also use the search box to search by Affected object or Details.

Step 4: Review the audit entries

Each row represents an action performed on the selected SIP Trunk. The table contains:

  • Date & Time: When the action occurred
  • Affected object: The affected SIP Trunk or region
  • Action: The type of change performed
  • Actor: The user who performed the action
  • IP address: The source IP address
  • Details: Additional information about the change, when available

Step 5: View additional results

If the audit records span multiple pages, use the pagination controls in the bottom-right corner of the table to navigate between pages.
