Fax access with Permission V2
Permission V2 manages access to each fax number directly in the Fax app. Use the selected fax account’s Assigned users list to grant or remove access.
| Role or existing access | Access after migration |
|---|---|
| Owner | Keeps full access to all fax numbers and settings. |
| Admin with access through the legacy Fax Permission Group | Is migrated automatically to the Fax Admin role and keeps full access to view, edit and manage all fax numbers. No action is required. |
| Member with access to specific fax numbers | Keeps existing access to those numbers. Access is managed in each fax account’s Assigned users list instead of the legacy Permission Group in Manage Organization. |
To grant or remove access, you must be the Owner or have permission to manage access for the selected fax account. Being able to view a fax account does not by itself grant permission to manage other users.
