Track Inbox Transaction Field Changes in Audit Log
In Unified Workspace, administrators and supervisors can track modifications made to customer transaction form fields. A dedicated Audit icon in the Inboxes section provides real-time visibility into who modified transaction details, when the changes occurred, and the originating IP address.
Availability & Prerequisites
| Requirement | Specification |
|---|---|
| App | Unified Workspace > Inboxes |
| Licensing | Active Contact Center base license (required for Admin role) |
| Role Permissions | Owner (unconditional access) or Admin (requires Contact Center base license) |
| Supported Browser | Google Chrome (newest version) |
Role-Based Access
Organization Owners always have access to the Audit view in Inboxes. Users with the Admin role require an active Contact Center base license assigned to their account to access the Audit view. Members and agents do not have access to the Audit section.
Accessing the Inbox Audit Log
- Log in to your account on the portal.
- Open Unified Workspace from the application launcher.
- In the left navigation menu, locate the Inboxes section.
- Click the Audit icon beside Inboxes.
- The Audit view opens with a top navigation bar (
← Audit) and filtering controls.
Audit Log Interface & Filter Options
The Audit view provides dedicated filtering tools to locate specific transaction records quickly:
- Date range: Filter records by time period (defaults to Today, or select custom date ranges).
- Action: Filter by specific audited action (e.g., Update Form Data).
- Actor: Filter by who performed the action (All, or specific team member).
- Search: Use the Affected object or Detail search bar to search directly by transaction UUID or changed detail text.
- Refresh (↻): Reload log records in real time.
Audit Table Columns
The log displays transaction events with the following details:

|---|---|
| Date & Time | Timestamp when the action occurred, displayed in your organization's timezone. |
| Affected object | The transaction UUID identifier (e.g., 019f1bf4-eb08-4000005be040-1a) or transaction label. |
| Action | The action performed (e.g., Update Form Data). |
| Actor | The entity that executed the change: User name (team member), System (automated process), or Remote Support - [Name] (support session). |
| IP address | The client IP address recorded for user and remote support actions. |
| Details | Specific form fields updated during the transaction modification. |
